Detroit Academy of Etiquette is pleased to announce the launch of Project 2, a nonprofit organization supporting women who are ready to re-enter the work force after facing difficult challenges and set-backs. We strongly believe everyone deserves a second chance, hence the 2 in Project 2.

The Project 2 team is assembled of top-level executives, entrepreneurs and amazing volunteers who have designed a curriculum that will equip participants with business skills and confidence, allowing them to reach their full potential. Project 2 is working with Brilliant Detroit to select participants for the upcoming workshop in September 2020.

The Project 2 workshop will cover business etiquette training, interview skills, resume writing, personal finance 101, professional dress, and much more. Participants will also walk away with a framework for their social networking sites, a professional photograph, business attire, and other helpful amenities. Our goal is for the women involved to feel on top of the world and ready to conquer any new opportunity that comes their way. Project 2 is not a one-and-done. We will continue to support the participants throughout the job process as needed.

Please stay tuned for the announcement of our amazing team and sponsors, coming soon. As we work toward our September workshop, we will be posting items and services needed to help support our participants. If you’d like to donate or get involved on some level, please contact info@detroitacademyofetiquette.com.

Lastly, we are hosting a clothing drive in the Metro Detroit area in July 2020. Items needed include gently used professional women’s clothing, shoes, coats, and accessories. All sizes welcome. Please reach out to info@detroitacademyofetiquette.com if you are interested in making a clothing contribution.

Thank you for the support.
